Bio: Black Panda is the creative persona of Eddie Rios, a DJ and writer living in Oakland, California. His heart remains in Brooklyn where he was born and raised to a music-loving Puerto Rican family.

Black Panda brings a unique flair to each one of his performances, carefully crafting a unique story for his crowds with a flowing journey that sways between classic and contemporary House music. In his performances at Burning Man, parties, and beautiful settings from across the country, Black Panda seamlessly blends deep, dark, progressive, and melodic tunes with the unique beats from the Afro-Carribean.

Black Panda also produces a weekly mix series known as Hibernation that creates an emotional journey through the influences of House music. He advocates for diversity in the music industry: He co-leads the BIPOC Beats Collective, an initiative started by a group of BIPOC burners with the mission of diversifying lineups and sound at Burning Man and beyond. Through that work, he and others have created an international community of sound artists that continues to grow today. He writes for the Guardian about racial inequity in America.

Artist Name: LASSØ (pronounced "Lasso")

Bio: Louie Sousa (or his alter ego name "LASSØ") is a DJ and Music Producer based out of Brooklyn, New York. Louie is inpsired by the sounds of old school house and techno, and aims to bring back the early sounds of Underground Resistance, Jeff Mills, Robert Hood, and even the sounds of old school Dutch DJ's Michel De Hey, and Steve Rachmad. Louie's goal is to have listeners in a state of trance with groovy low-ends, funky melodies, and nasty hi-hats to keep the dance floor going. Louie's alter ego "LASSØ" is Louie's hard/dark techno alias that manifests late at night in the warehouse rave-- with acid techno, industrial sounds, and visuals to keep the party going. Influencers of LASSØ are ROD Malmok (Benny Rodriguez), Sterac, Phase, Glenn Wilson, Mike Humphries, etc. Louie has started a Record Label in Brooklyn called "RATM" (Rave Against the Machine) and has released singles on streaming platforms such as Spotify.
