Come this December, CUNY and the New York City Census Bureau will distribute grants ranging from $25k-250k to various Community-Based Organizations (CBO's) across the five Boroughs. This initiative along with the grassroots #EverybodyCounts movement aim to deter a Census undercount, which can impact representation at all levels of government for New York neighborhoods.

The grant is part of a historic multi-million dollar budget allocated for NYC’s 2020 Census outreach strategy.

This can result in major impactful consequences, including potentially losing up to two seats in the House of Representatives.
