Honored to have @michelle_j_anderson, President of @bklyncollege411, give a formal address at our Unity Event⁣

To us, unity is all about acceptance, passion, and perseverance. It’s about accepting our hardships while not letting them define us. Identifying with the perseverance but not with the problems themselves. We are not just our struggles, we are our thoughts, experiences, and takeaways. We are the future, and as long as we stand together, there is hope that our futures are bright.🌌⁣

"Roses are red violets are blue, vote Dapo for additional student activity funding for a much better school!" Vote Dapo!
I received an email that my submission was accepted for publication in the poetry magazine for Fall 2019. However, the email didn’t say which poem was accepted, nor how I can get a book once it’s been published. I do not go to Brooklyn College (I go to John Jay), so my access to these questions is limited. If someone could provide me with these answers or an email that I can communicate with, that would be great! Thanks in advance!
