Have you ever heard of a man by the name of Tom Coleman? Probably not. Let's see if I can jog your memory. He was a police officer in Tulia Texas. Ringing any bells yet? Nope?
Tom Coleman was one of America's top police officers. He was such a damn good narcotics officer that he busted 86 people in a drug ring that was moving tens of millions of dollars in co***ne through Texas. He got 86 convictions and he was the most accomplished police officer in Texas. Hell, he was even named the Officer of the Year and given a $25,000 bonus for all the children he saved from these deadly drugs.
But there was just a small itty bitty problem and you know these things happen. Now as I have mentioned before, of all the police officers in the United States, absolutely the most corrupt cops are narcotics detectives. Indeed I have flatly stated that 100% as in every single goddamn one is corrupt and Tom Coleman was no different.
The 'itty bitty' problem turned out that Tom was a white police officer. In point of actual fact it was a well known fact that his father was either Klan or a sympathizer and being a good old boy, Tom was no different.
So take a wild guess what the race of the 86 people he arrested in Tulia Texas were? I'll give you one guess.
So something somewhere struck mighty q***r about old Tom by an old lawyer who happened to believe in truth and justice. So he started investigating old Tom after some people said he was arresting innocent black people in Tulia. So after he collected some evidence and examined testimony by Mr. Coleman, this attorney called the Texas rangers and though I can say with a moral certainty that all police are corrupt, I will not say that about Texas rangers. They are actually the best men, better than FBI agents or any other Law Enforcement Agency in the United States.
Come to find out that there wasn't any actual evidence of this tens of millions of dollars in co***ne, as in none at all. Where was it? What happened to it?
Well it turned out that Officer Tom Coleman was a racist lying sack of f***s who fabricated evidence against ALL 86 black people he convicted in a court with a jury of all white juries. Strange how that works huh?
The state once it realized what Mr. Coleman did indicted him, stripped him of his badge and before you knew it, he was in prison and all the people he put in prison for a total of centuries in sentencing time, got out and started suing the state of Texas.
I bring this up for a couple of reasons and the first is that the Attorney General at the time had a bill passed limiting the amount of damages that could be paid to victims of Tom Coleman and any other Texas police officers.
This is the same Attorney General who presented Tom Coleman with the Officer of the Year Award and the check for $25,000.
Now take a wild guess who that Attorney General was?
John Cornyn.
Senator Cornyn not only limited the amount of damages Tulia victims could sue for, he never apologized to any of Tom Coleman's victims. Why do you think that is?
Yesterday Senator Cornyn called on the FBI to start arresting the members of the Texas state congress who have fled the state in protest of the disgusting amount of gerrymandering they are trying to commit in full view of the public on the order of Trump.
Strange that a 'small government conservative' now wants to arrest his fellow Americans who have committed no crime at all simply to make sure they can pass this new gerrymandered map they want to pass. So why is he doing this?
Because John Cornyn is in a primary with a young Republican gun who is all but certain that Donald Trump is Jesus Christ. John Cornyn hasn't gone there yet but arresting Americans who are expressing their grievances with their government is a rather chilling development considering this is the exact same nonsense that Republicans accused President Obama of doing if he ever got elected, only none of that ever happened.
Trump in his infinite Stupidity also said that the FBI might step in despite these congressmen not committing any crime at all. Arrest Americans who will not go along with the Republican program.
Now class we have a word for this and what is that word that rhymes with 'fascism'? That's right, fascism.

John Cornyn is a racist political w***e who doesn't even have the common decency to apologize to victims of Tulia because black people do not vote for him. Racist Republicans vote for John Cornyn and Gregg Abbott and Ted Cruz and the majority of Republican scum in Texas.
They are so racist that they are trying to strip Jasmine Crockett's district to make sure a Republican takes her place to teach that black lady her place.
Calling in the FBI to arrest Americans who are openly protesting Trump is not criminal, it's as American as apple pie and despite their best efforts, Texas is now 45% Democrat but democrats only hold 20% of the seats in both state and federal branches.
John Cornyn is not quite the racist that Strom Thurmond was because Strom Thurmond had an affair with a black woman and he had children with her. John Cornyn is more racist than Strom Thurmond and he is one of those scumbags who have benefitted from gerrymandering and Texas being a hub of white nationalist Christians who cannot do enough to keep people of color out of office.
Kash Patel will most certainly arrest these congressman and deliver them back to Texas police so Texas will pass this gerrymandered map by force and that will be the rubicon never crossed in American history that is literally the bridge to fascism in America.
Governor Pritzker has promised to house any members fleeing Texas but he cannot tell the FBI anything. Those members of the Texas legislature need to flee to another country where the FBI cannot simply go pick them up.
Otherwise Kash Patel will cross that rubicon and America and everything we have claimed to ever stand for will be in the garbage because of that convicted felon scumbag Donald Trump!
