Global Vortex Radio is changing how we operate in terms of Royalties. We paid out for years to SoundExchange through SWcast Network just to find out that company wasn't paying sound exchange. We had also been with LoudCity.net just to find out they don’t support DJ Mix formats. We put up with the struggle and with the fees and the laws for over five years. When we return on the air this fall 2013 the only artist music that will be played in our rotation will be from artists that have waved the royalty. We have relationships with record labels and artists that are happy to share their music into our rotation for our listening audience. They understand the struggle and that we are here to help promote their music. We will continue to give independent artists live broadcasts from their shows and will also be starting shows that showcase producers and bands exclusively. We are looking forward to being back on the airwaves soon.
