🔊 Help preserve NYC’s nightlife and those who create it. 🔊

Now more than ever is a critical time to support our local cultural spaces and artists in NYC. We’ve built this Kickstarter campaign to help ensure that they survive the COVID-19 pandemic closures and reopen as a stronger, healthier, and more creative community.

The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted so many of us around the world, leaving people and spaces in already precarious situations vulnerable like never before. As we’ve lost the privilege and comfort of coming together in large groups, this rings particularly true for NYC and its storied nightlife community.

While we’re hard at work to secure larger donations from sponsors willing to truly step up for NYC’s cultural community, we’re also asking individuals with the means and ability to pitch in and help save these spaces. At a time when we need it most, your donation provides critical grassroots support during this unprecedented moment.

With your help, we can help ensure an equitable nightlife culture in NYC that not only survives the coronavirus closure, but is able to reopen and exists more vibrantly than it did before. We would not be able to get this done without you and thank you deeply for your commitment to helping your community. However, if you can’t give right now, we completely understand. Please consider sharing with a friend or family member who you think could help at this time. 💜

I was searching for artists that have an instinct for music to the point that every (I tend to call them) track comes out exactly right on the 1st attempt. (I know the misses, but inaudible to everyone). I've been making music using instinct only for about a year now (Reason since 1998). I listen to or choose loops and samples, then I hit 'record' and start making music (LIVE recording, no sequencers). Every attempt ends up being a release on soundcloud.com/maartenkraak . I'm the dream of any good DJ bcuz of my instinctual measure timing. I always know when the changes either in the music or DJ mixing without fail. The style of music does not matter to me, I just adhere to 8+8 or 16 measures per section (with vocals, 32 measures). I cannot explain how I do what I do. I just do what I feel. I made this hip-hop, techno mashup Sunday night and mouths drop: https://soundcloud.com/maartenkraak/play-with-me . 3 months ago I made an awesome reggae/dub track that appeals to 8 to 80 year olds. Give me a chance and listen, then contact me or point me to the right pplz. I need pplz to converse and collaborate with and inspire/push me. Ad-Hoc is me 100%
