We’re not just another production company or rental house. We’re kleenslate and the first of it’s kind.
We’re female and minority owned, we represent Brooklyn hard as hell. Not Williamsburg or Bushwick Brooklyn either. We’ve created a lifestyle and culture of film that caters to people that grew up like we grew up. We’re hoping to level the playing feel and reduce the disparity of access.
It’s easy to see a filmmaker that may only have access to T3i’s and iPhones and judge their work and experience from it. Well, our goal is to put $100k cameras in peoples hands so they can really explore the depths of their potential. They only have access to T3i’s and iPhones. And that’s where kleenlsate creative comes in.
Hand Held Films (rental house in Manhattan) kickstarted our careers by offering us access to equipment our peers could only dream of. It’s a huge reason why we’ve successfully put ourselves in our current position. Now we want to do the same for other filmmakers out there.
We have lots of awesome gear available for rent in our “rental house”. Yes’ it’s actually a house, a large house that we more consider a studio. Ask around, a few of your friends have probably shot here before and wrapped feeling inspired and motivated.
If you’re a minority filmmaker, from Brooklyn and you’ve yearned to work with other people that look like you, well now is your chance.
