The Rebbe famously encouraged a holistic approach to medicine, one which obligates the patient — wherever possible — to accept responsibility for their own health.

By placing greater emphasis on good health and preventative measures, we can prepare ourselves for a day when sickness will truly be banished from the world, with the coming of Moshiach.

The Children's Torah Scroll: Connecting Every Jewish Child

In 1981, during a Farbrengen celebrating his birthday, the Rebbe launched the Children's Torah Scroll campaign. It went on to become a global effort for Jewish children to buy their own letter in a Torah scroll written especially for them.

The Rebbe explained that unifying all Jewish children in this special project would bring merit to and help protect the Jewish people.

A Message for Russian Jewry

In 1980, during the Lag B'omer parade, the Rebbe addressed those still behind the Iron Curtain. Knowing that his message would be heard in the USSR, the Rebbe, speaking in Russian, insisted that the Soviet constitution itself secures freedom of religion for its citizens.

This Niggun, a favorite of the Rebbe Maharash, conveys this dictum through song and inspires such an outlook in our own lives.

Today, 2 Iyar, marks the birth of the Rebbe Maharash, fourth Rebbe of Chabad (1834 - 1882).

A Torah for Moshiach | Excerpt

On the 10th of Shevat in 1950, the Rebbe’s father-in-law and predecessor, Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Schneerson, passed away. Eight years beforehand, in 1942, he had commissioned the writing of the “Torah Scroll to Greet Moshiach”, a project that was not completed during his lifetime in this world. As the 20th anniversary of his passing approached in 1970, the Rebbe announced that the time had come to complete the Torah scroll.

In Kabbalah, Matzah is called both “Bread of Faith” as well as “Bread of Healing”.

The order is precise. The faith precedes the healing, as it isn't a faith that comes in the wake of healing, rather a faith which generates healing, preventing any sickness to begin with.

As Passover approaches this year, healing is on all of our minds. May we succeed in uncovering these treasures within the Matzah - faithfully and healthfully.

Wishing you a happy, healthy and Kosher Passover! Next Year in Jerusalem!

Moshiach has arrived, www.ra-el.org
slimane bouhafs 01-07-2019 - village zerkoune, commune bousselam set bouts. Algeria. Tel Tunisia: 00216 29 663 533. Dear ; I have the honor, hereby, to solicit your high kindness to kindly grant me time to study my asylum application and to accept it. Indeed I am an Algerian Christian and I was arrested and sentenced in the course of 2016 to three years in prison because of publications on the social network facebook that have been judged as undermining the Muslim religion. I would like to bring to your attention, ma'am, that I have already suffered several threats and harassments since my conversion to Christianity in 1998. I was also physically attacked by people in my village and I had to move for many years to protect my family. Between July 2016 and March 2018, I was imprisoned because of my religious beliefs and my case made headlines in national and international newspapers. Public opinion in Algeria particularly, in Africa in general, in Europe and even in Canada and the USA, protested for the right of worship and expression of Christians. National and international NGOs like the Algerian League for the Defense of Human Rights (LADDH), Human Rights Watch (HRW) and Amnesty International have also claimed my release (you can find on the internet all the articles and movement and actions that have been carried out for my cause). During my time in jail, I received a lot of letters of support that helped me especially on a psychological level. After my release in March 2018, things became more difficult for me because I feel threatened everywhere, even my pay was withdrawn for no reason. I subsequently decided to leave the country to seek asylum in a foreign country, I came to Tunisia it's been almost a year, I made my asylum application in Tunisia and my file has has been accepted and my request too, and as the social and economic situation of this country is not up to par and my security is threatened, UNHCR Tunis has started a procedure for other foreign countries, in Europe or to USA . UNHCR Tunis has submitted my application for several countries. It is for all these reasons that I will like an asylum with the authorities of your country, because I consider that my situation is very serious. Looking forward to your reply, please accept, Sir / Madam, my respectful greetings
Shalom Shalom Shalom Shalom. Amen. Yahweh.
