Connect with students of Danish in the NYC Tri-State Area or others who have a passion for Danish culture. Perhaps you:
—have a Danish spouse, partner, or significant other.
—plan to work or study in Denmark.
—want to explore your Danish roots. Maybe you know that:
—Danish and English are both Germanic languages.
—Danish authors like H.C. Andersen ("The Little Mermaid") have contributed to English
culture.
—Danish historical celebrities like Søren Kierkegaard and Niels Bohr have influenced philosophy and science.
—Danish games like Lego bring joy to both children and adults alike. And let’s not forget that one of the most influential plays in the English language is “Hamlet, Prince of Denmark”. LESSONS
