Nancy Mace is drawing a line in the sand on what it truly means to serve in Congress. Her proposal would require that members of Congress be natural-born citizens — a constitutional principle that ensures undivided loyalty to America and the Constitution above all else.
The left is already screaming "xenophobic," but Mace's position is straightforward: those who write America's laws should have been born under the American flag. While naturalized citizens have made valuable contributions, there's a difference between choosing to immigrate and being born American. The Constitution set this standard for the presidency for a reason — and Mace is asking why Congress should be any different.
This isn't about attacking immigrants. It's about protecting the integrity of our legislative branch and ensuring that the people crafting our nation's future have an unshakeable, lifelong commitment to American sovereignty and constitutional governance. Mace is putting principle first, and the establishment can't stand it.
