Mandella Linkz “Mandella Andel Kellon Andrew Mc. Donald”
Mandella Andel Kellon Adrew Mc. Donald, known as Mandella Linkz, is from the parish of St. David’s in Grenada. Mandella Linkz is a well-known seasoned veteran Grenadian Entertainer/Artist. He represents Grenada culturally to the fullest globally.
He began writing music at the tender age of five. Shortly thereafter, He began showcasing his talents by teaming up with an elderly musician called Guy Fox. Shortly thereafter, he began singing on the Blocks, at Schools, in the Parks, at Clubs and all over.
Music and Black Blood have always been flowing Mandella’s veins. Knowing that music and black blood are in his veins, he came up with the idea of adding the line Black Blood in Me Veins in his Toombstone song.
Mandella is the son of an elderly Grenadian Calypsonian, known as Teacher Hosey. Teacher Hosey’s real name is “Hosey McDonald”. Hosey sang in the 80's alongside artist like the King Ajamu, Tangler, Da**ie, Teacher Eddie, African Teller, Wizard, Skylark, Squeezzie, Natty Nuclear Dread, Inspector, Flying Cloud, Angel Dust and many more.
In 2000, He continued to strive for success and recorded his first single song called “Stop All The Fighting”. Produced by Curlan Bethel.
In 2011, Mandella did his first Soca combination, called “Not Your Friend”, with Calypsonian Jason Joseph a/k/a Big J, produced by Toomb.
In 2012, he went on his own and did his first Soca single called “Free Life”, Produced by Wayne Green of Homebase Studios, at which time, he then changed his singing name to Mandella Linkz.
In 2015, he was gracefully awarded for the best Reggae Song in Grenada “Mi Luv U”, produced by Samuel Batson from New York.
In 2015, he made it to the Grenada 2015 Groovy Semifinals with a song called spend “Your Money Done” produced by Iconic Victor.
In march 2016, Mandella Linkz was the parish of St. David’s in Grenada Groovy Soca Monarch king .
In 2016, he made the big stage in Grenada Groovy Monarch and placed second with a selection called “Power”, produced by Marvin Thomas and Kenneth Charles of Back Ah Yard Records.
In 2017, he again made it to the Grenada Groovy Monarch with Richness, placed 6th. Again, another great track produced by Marvin Thomas and Kenneth Charles of Back Ah Yard Records.
In 2018, He came out with his monstrous hit “TOMBSTONE”, which took the Globe by storm. Mandella created his own dance called the “TOOMBSTONE DANCE” with his skillful performances, high energy, and great antics.
In 2018, He again made it for a 3rd time to the Grenada Groovy Monarch with his worldwide known song “TOMBSTONE” and placed forth. The Toombstone song was written by Mandella Linkz and produced by Marvin Thomas and Kenneth Charles of Back Ah Yard Records.
In 2018, Mandella Linkz was a nominee for the 2018 Pan American Song Contest.
He also won a jab song of the year award .
In 2019, He made it into the Trinidad and Tobago international soca monarch Finals with the Tombstone Song and also won the International soca award .
Tombstone was also featured in a film in 2019 .
He was also given the status of a cultural ambassador in 2019 by the Government of Grenada
In 2023, he also won the Caribbean afro Music award in the UK .
In 2025, Tombstone was also featured in housewives of Atlanta.
Mandella Linkz is blessed with a special voice from God Almighty. He is unique in style, humble, gifted and passionately devoted to pleasing all in the entertainment world will continue to feed his fans with sweet, pulsating and meaningful music until his work is over on this earth, because music is life and his passion. 🙌🙏🙌🙏.
