At the core of every mind numbing horror, there is a joke waiting for its time to shine.

I dare you not to laugh out loud when listening to Kris Dikeman's perfectly paired story (read it with wine for the spit take), and Sam Schreiber takes you on a noir whodunnit with a werewolf too curious for his own good.

"A Singular Event, In Several Courses" is read by the always brilliant and immently talented Mary Rodgers. And "Homo Homini Lupus is read by Paul Karle a vertan of the Kaleidocast and a master performer.

Hello Everyone,

The Kaleidocast Season 3 is finally here. Despite the upheavel of an international pandemic and all that goes with it, Kaleidocast is ready to rock. It's been a journey. This production, even under the best of circumstances, has always been a collaborative experiment and a heavy lift. The work was exponentially more challening, both logistically and emotionally, during a lockdown. But it has all been worth it.

https://soundcloud.com/kaleidocast

We get to bring you stories from new names and old friends, known superstars and surprising talent. I do hope you enjoy Season 3 as it unfolds with two episodes a month, two stories in every episode. I hope you enjoy the music and art that was inspired by said stories. I hope you fall in love with a new author you've never heard before and the voices of the talented, talented actors who bring the words to life. I'll have more to say about these intrepid actors who braved chainsaws and forest fires (no joke) to turn in their performances.

If you like what you hear and want to support another space for people to tell stories that matter, then subscribe to us on your favorite podcast app, write a message in the comments or on Soundcloud, and subscribe to our Patreon at https://www.patreon.com/kaleidocastnyc That's where you'll find all the extra art, music, behind the scenes action, extra stories, and Our famous exquisite co**se story. (more on that later)

A big thank you to all of our subscribers and listeners from us, your Kaleidocast producers: Sam Schreiber, Sondra Fink, Marcus Tsong, Essowe Tchalim, Marcy Arlin, Bradley Robert Parks, Jo Ladzinsk, and me Rob Cameron

Here are Bradley Robert Parks and Rob Cameron spending their Sunday nights quarantined in their studios editing stories, recording audio, and editing episodes for Sarah Pinsker, Niki Smith, Teri Clarke. He's not in the video because he works the night shift, but Sam Schreiber did the same this morning. Marcy Arlin, Sondra Fink, Jo Asia Ladzinski and Marcus Tsong are on the job too. Season 3 is a labor of love, but it is labor. If you want to help pay the creatives involved for the work they do, consider subscribing to the Patreon. Every dollar goes to the artists and authors who need it. https://www.patreon.com/kaleidocastnyc

Hello Authors,
Just...wow. We’ve been at this for just about ten days. The response has been dramatic and heartwarming. Authors, we’ve jumped more than $100. We are now sitting at just under $300.

That’s incredible. Authors, help us get over the hump to $300. It doesn’t take much: a $6 subscription means we can pay to get the most talented actors to read the hell out of these stories (Many of them go through your stories line by line with Marcy Arlin directing them. We can pay audio engineers to tighten up the audio that we can’t (Bradley Robert Parks, Sam Schreiber, and I do most of the audio production ourselves with assists from friends like Jessica Plumbley, Terence Taylor and Kyle Fink). We can pay Marcus Tsong for knowing exactly what song to put to each story (He chose all the Bowie we used last season). $6 helps us pay for more amazing art to bring these stories, authors, and actors to life in living 2d color. And of course, we can pay the authors of Season 3 more and save up to pay pro for Kalediocast Season 4. That could be your story or the story of your critique partners!
$6 dollars a month will do it. 20 more people and we are there.

Sincerely,
Rob Cameron
