My name came from my best mentor and biggest fan, my Mother, who's nickname was Cricket growing up. Over th

Most everyone that knows me is aware that I have a hard time making decisions! Especially in redoing my house.

A bit of background: My husband died
3 years ago in July and I haven’t changed anything, including the boots that are still
where he last took them off. Our house has beige and dark tan walls, stained wood trim, autumn colors and lots of wood. I want to lighten things up and make it cheery. It’s been a slow process getting here but I’m ready to do it. I’m hoping by posting here it gives me some accountability.

I finally got the walls painted an off white in the main part of the house. I’ll keep
the wood trim for now because I can’t afford to change it all out! Today I’m working on the front bathroom. I got the mirror at Home Depot and decided to paint it
