Brazos Valley Law Enforcement Association advances theories that factors Other than Police Misconduct responsible for George Floyd’s death

While many first-responders across the country concur that the death of George Floyd was an atrocity resulting from less than ideal policing practices, Law Enforcement Association of the Brazos Valley is taking a different stand, digging up obscure articles like the one below from WesternJournal.com, which seems focused on insinuating other factors like “health conditions” and “potential intoxicants” are responsible for Floyd’s death.

ICYMI: “You are going to die… I’m excited for your dog too” Downtown Bryan bar owner sends threats

ICYMI: Elite Electric, LP President Commences Bullying Campaign Targeting Reporter

In response to the publication of our story, Batson’s facebook friend and Elite Electric, LPmanager Andreas Pavlatos, who has never met or done business with the reporter posted the following to his personal facebook account:

“So, everyone knows Bruce W. Batson is being TARGETED by this psycho… Why don’t we all start a public group where everyone can come forward with their stories of this psychopath harassing them so the public can see what a complete and total douchebag this guy is and shun him from BCS once and for all? He does absolutely zero good for the community and is a self absorbed psychopath. All he does is target good people with his nonstop bullsh*t.”

Pavlatos made several legally actionable and provably false claims about the reporter in the post quoted above. He has already been sent notice to cease and desist.
