Christmas tree themes! Honestly I have always wanted one, I totally admire the people who do all out on their tree and have themes and custom colors and what not. I’m NOT one of those people. 🤣.

This is how I have been feeling lately! 🤣So torn between all the different parts of my brain. Lately, fitness Cassie has been winning with depressed sleepy Cassie coming in close second. 🤣 #scorpioszn Cleaning/mom Cassie have been make a solid come back though, kinda proud of that. Without her no one else can function properly, like when the house is dirty my other parts just shut down and like don’t know what to do. She is the incredibly neglected glue that holds my personality together.
Today is my birthday eve! Or as some like to call it “Chrystal’s Birthday” 🙄🤣 I’ve been in a bit of a creative slump this past week…(sleep deprivation and stress will do that 😅) But I did some hardcore compulsive cleaning yesterday and I feel better, there isn’t much a good scrub brush and some CLR can’t fix. 🤣. Anyway, if you get a chance today, go over and wish my big sister a happy birthday! 🎁🎉🎂 I’ll tag her in the comments because it won’t let me tag her in the post. 🤷🏼♀️
It’s funny I ran across this audio clip. I had almost this exact conversation with my mom on the way to Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital last week. First of all, Warren is fine. (Thanks for asking) Last week he got his finger stuck in a stand up tool box drawer. One of the hydraulic ones that soft close. Anyway, I was out side and didn’t hear him yelling for help. Not sure how long he was there (could have been a minute, could have been 5) but when I came in and got his finger out it had a super deep depression to the point I thought I could see bone. There was no blood or open wound. So I got him in the car as fast as I could and got him to the local urgent care before they closed. The PA there rushed in and said he thought he saw tendon and it would need a specialist to look at it. So I’m going out to the car with warren (who is incredibly calm for all that’s going on) and in between thoughts of having to amputate the finger I think “what is the parking situation at Mary bridge?!?!” So I call my mom who used to work in the area and she had no idea… There wasn’t any question in my mind whether I was going to figure it out, but it definitely had me EXTRA stressed. sed to work in the area and she didn’t know. 😱. We got there and it was a nightmare. The only parking lot I could see was “full” (freakin 7pm?!). So I drove around a couple different blocks to see if there was any other parking aaand there wasn’t… so I just went into the full garage and ended up getting a decent spot. But THAT is exactly why I have anxiety about the parking situation. Every highland game gives me anxiety about parking. I don’t think many people think of parking being a perk of “athlete status” but it is. 🤣We finally got there and the depression in warrens finger was gone and he was able to move it like normal with no pain… 🙄. We went in anyway and got X-rays. No breaks no tendon damage. He is now a true shop kid and a tough little boy.
