When you are a child of the King, you will be hated. When you take the word of God literally, you are radical and hated. Demonic forces are rampant, increasing more and more, just as it was spoken of in scripture.
Father's, Mothers, Grandparents, Family, let's raise up the next generation right. It starts in the home.
I tend to stay clear of the media, for obvious reasons. But Charlie Kirk was a true Man of God, standing up for the youth, , the truth, and the good, and standing against corrupt and evil. Becsuse of this, when he left this world and entered the kingdom, he did not hear "Depart from me, for I never knew you", instead he heard "Well done my good and faithful servant" Regardless how you feel of his beliefs, he had the freedom to express his opinion, just as we do. And because someone didn't agree, his babies now are here without a father, and a wife without her husband. Let's pray for his family and turn back to God. Let's teach our children the same. And let this be a wake up call.

-"Woe to those that call evil good and good evil"
Isaiah 5:20

Seed starting doesnt have to be complicated. It can be fast and easy. Many plants transplant really well. So when it comes to things like leafy greens, generally I will fill a tray with soil, and sprinkle the seedlings in it, then transplant out when its time. That whole process can literally take 1 minute. Grow something.

It's funny how life can go sometimes.
Back when we were teens, Brandon and I spent a ton of time at the river. We would pack coolers, head to leadmine, and float. This spot right here, he use to tie a tube to the back of the kayak and would pull me up this river. I thought it was fun...turns out it was alot of work for him 🤣
Fast forward to buying our first house and we moved out there, very close to the river. We had wanted river land but being close was okay.

We out grew that place and wanted farm land. I wanted land like I grew up on. And now here we are. Farmland with the river right on it.

Sometimes life is just...life. Its busy. In all the good ways. I love sharing a small bit of ours on here. But sometimes it feels so good to disappear.

We only joined social media about 4 years ago. I did it for the farm page. Mostly because I had plans for the farmers market. BUT plans change and here we are, just growing our food, raising babies, on this little Ole river bottom farm.

I really think cows are amazing creatures. Their milk can support so many different lives. But the best part, is seeing how they join in taking care of the Littles. In this picture Turtle is licking and loving on little Annabelle. The heifer that lost her mama, but she was taken in by all the cows, they all raised her, while raising their own babies.

Today we had our first class at our homeschool co-op. What an amazing time too! So thankful that homeschool kids have options for joining with other children their age, in a learning environment (at this age, mostly playful).

And BTW, idk how you mamas or daddies do it getting your kids ready and out the door and at school by 8am daily...I mean we are up and outside really early on the farm...but i might lose my mind if I had to be on time for public school 🤣 I guess mostly due to farm life and responsibilities.

Demi was the first cow we bought. Registered, A2A, good cream lines, and an incredible mama cow. She has raised up many calves, some without a mama, and others that just needed a quick drink here and there. She last calved last October. So she is due anytime and im excited to have her back in milk and back in the barn.

I challenge you...
To seek the meaningful, special moments in your life. To often we get busy. Moving fast through this life. Getting the next thing done. On top of the purposeful distractions placed everywhere we turn. Then we don't notice the little things. The little moments. It may seem mundane, but actually it is so special.
The kids under foot, the family walks, the random things toddlers do in random moments, the few minutes I get with my husband in the mornings. Those things I soak in.
It is my life goal to soak in every single second with my absolute favorite people on this earth, my husband and babies along with the important people in our lives, our family.

So after you read this, put your phone down, be present, and turn the mundane into something meaningful.

And please, share this, I think its a message that needs to be spread.

It seems like it's always a busy time in the garden. Now its time to take out old plants and put in new.
I never take out something that is still producing. The tomatoes, green beans, okra, peppers, and egg plant all get to stay until the frost.

There were many rows that needed cleaned up, old vines that needed to go, butternut squash to be harvested and cured, and huge sunflowers to be cut down.

We all worked together and made massive progress, now were planting out!

I love that the fall garden is neat and tidy vs the vining and bushy summer garden that by August gets so out of hand.
