Episode 13 is coming soon.

Josh Mullin of Jack Rabbit joins us for a conversation about Buffalo’s music scene, the artists who help shape it, and the energy that makes Elmwood Village one of the city’s most distinct neighborhoods.

We talk music, creativity, entrepreneurship, neighborhood culture, the future of artistry, and where technology and AI, if at all, fit into that conversation.

A lot of ground covered. A lot of Buffalo in this one.

Episode 13 of Lock in Buffalo. Coming soon. 🔒🦬

The 33 debate is about a lot more than traffic.

It’s about reconnecting neighborhoods, restoring parts of Buffalo’s East Side, protecting mobility, attracting investment, and potentially creating real upside for homeowners and future buyers.

Some want to cap portions of the Kensington Expressway and build green space above it. Others say Buffalo should go further and consider filling in or removing larger sections altogether.

So what’s the better move for Buffalo?

Cap it, fill it in, or leave it alone?

Apparently the PBA negotiations are starting in September… and December. 😂

At this point, the contract talks have entered the multiverse.

Can somebody at WGRZ - Channel 2, Buffalo let us know which timeline Buffalo is currently living in?

A viral accusation. No verified victim. No confirmed employee. No proven incident.

If the Texas Roadhouse allegations are true, investigate them fully and hold people accountable.

But if we keep turning every unverified racial allegation into instant outrage, we’re not fighting racism — we’re monetizing division.

Buffalo has seen this before. Sometimes the media gets so eager to fit people into neat little racial boxes, they forget to do something revolutionary:

Ask the person.

My father-in-law Gary apparently discovered he was African American from the evening news. He’s Sicilian and Italian. 😂

Serious accusations deserve serious journalism.

Investigate first. Report second.

Stop taking the bait.

Buffalo is getting two VERY different stories.

Mayor Sean Ryan says negotiations with the Buffalo PBA are active and ongoing. The PBA says there’s still no meaningful dialogue.

Meanwhile, officers are retiring, recruiting is getting harder, staffing remains a concern, and public safety doesn’t wait for City Hall to get its act together.

The PBA is sounding the alarm. So why does it feel like the mayor is sweeping the problem under the rug?

Buffalo deserves a straight answer — and a real plan.

What do you think is actually going on? Mayor Sean M. Ryan ??

Buffalo’s waterfront is changing fast. Canalside has become a centerpiece for tourism, dining, entertainment, and public investment — but what should the bigger vision for the waterfront really look like?

Should it be more housing? More ownership? More mixed-use? More public space?

This is bigger than one project. It’s about the future of Buffalo. Watch, weigh in, and let’s have the conversation.
