Guess who forgot to take the chicken out of the freezer again 🙋‍♂️😂

Then I realized we had everything we needed for a Loaded Oklahoma Patty Melt:
🥩 Ground beef
🧅 Onions
🧀 American cheese
🍞 White bread
🥓 Bacon
🫙 Okie Sauce

Smash the beef into those onions, load it up, and griddle it until golden.

This patty melt slapped so hard you could practically hear the Sonic rings hitting the floor. 😂💍

So I took one of my Buffalo favorites — chicken wing dip — loaded it onto savory Hawaiian rolls, covered it in cheese, and finished the whole thing with garlic-Parmesan butter.

Easy to make, easy to grab, and apparently pretty easy to make disappear.

Because sometimes the best recipes are just taking something you already love and finding a better way to eat it. ✌️

🌞 Backyard Fiesta Bowls 🌞

Apparently my daughter has been telling everyone her dad makes food online...

Now every kid on the block wants to come over and see if we're actually legit. 😂

So I had to bring out one of my favorite summer dinners:
🍗 Honey-chipotle chicken
🌽 Charred street corn
🍚 Creamy cilantro-lime rice
🥑 Fresh avocado
🌶️ Smoky chipotle crema
🧀 Cotija

It's quick, feeds a crowd, and everyone gets to build their own bowl.

I opened the fridge and accidentally made something ridiculous 🔥

Started with leftover chicken and somehow ended up with this- The Weekend Munchie Sandwich🥪

Roasted garlic sourdough, crispy bacon, avocado, sautéed peppers and onions, and a Sicilian lemon aioli that tied everything together.

Proof that the best sandwiches aren't always planned.

Some dishes stay with you.

Years ago I watched Chef and saw the scene where Carl Casper makes Aglio e Olio.

Simple. Garlic, olive oil, pasta... and somehow it looked like the best thing in the world.

That dish was one of the first recipes that pushed me to start cooking for real.

Fast forward to now - still cooking, still learning, and still chasing that same feeling that food should have soul.

So this one's a little love letter to Jon Favreau and the movie that quietly started it all.

Tonight's version: Shrimp Aglio E Olio (Crespo Cooks Style 😂)
