Glorious Rising. ❤️
So, this past weekend, I did some things I usually don't do.
And I actually enjoyed myself. 😂
Now, I don't know if I'm gonna do it again, but it was super dope.
I have to give a shout-out to the new friends I made, these lovely beings on earth, and to somebody special for the invitation.
Because if you know me, you know I usually say...
Nope. I'm not going. 😂
But this time, I said yes.
And it had me thinking...
When we keep saying no to things, are we sometimes cutting off our own blessings?
Are we creating unnecessary walls?
Or have we become so overly conscious and guarded about everything that we're not allowing ourselves to actually enjoy life?
Because life is supposed to be lived.
Not just paying bills.
Not worrying about who did what.
Not always taking care of everybody else.
Not just living by the everyday programming that has been bestowed upon us and calling that a life.
So yeah... it gave me a little reflection moment.
Because I often say no based on who's asking me.
And then I had to think about that too.
Does that make me judgmental?
Or am I just trying to protect myself from pain, trauma, or hurt based on the person or environment I'm being invited into?
I don't know.
Maybe it's a little bit of both.
But one thing I do know...
I said yes this time.
I met some beautiful people.
I had a good time.
And maybe that's the lesson.
Sometimes you just have to get out of your own way and allow yourself to live a little.
Now...
Back to my regularly scheduled vacation. 😂
Here's to becoming. ❤️
