LIVINGSTON COUNTY SHERIFF’S
OFFICE (New York)-
Named after Robert R Livingston who helped to draft both the Declaration of Independence and The Louisiana Purchase, Livingston County was formed from portions of Ontario and Genesee County in 1821. The County Sheriff’s Office serves its resident population of roughly 62,000 people and covers a patrol area of about 640 square miles. LCSO is headquartered in the Village of Geneseo and like many other agencies we’ve featured they provide a variety of special services in addition to general road patrol services.
