On 07/24/25 at about 10:03 PM, units from the Bullhead City Police Department and the Bullhead City Fire Department were dispatched to a collision on Highway 95 north of Seventh Street involving a single vehicle and a pedestrian. Units arrived and located a male pedestrian, 43 of Bullhead City, unresponsive in the roadway. The pedestrian sustained major injuries and was transported to the Western Arizona Regional Medical Center, where he was transferred to a medical helicopter and flown to University Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. The investigation revealed the pedestrian was crossing Highway 95 outside of a marked crosswalk and was struck by a 2018 Nissan Sentra operated by Mary Ann Stuchal, 78 of Bullhead City. The driver stopped immediately, remained at the scene and was cooperative with investigators. The driver was evaluated by a Drug Recognition Expert at the scene and impairment was ruled out as a factor in the collision. Video surveillance confirmed speed was not a factor in the collision. The investigation is ongoing.
