Pet of the Week: Charlie has been with us for a good long while. He is actually a forever puppy, look at his eyes and see for yourself! Charlie is a sweet, sweet, sweet boy. He just wants all of the attention and those eyes of his will make you melt. Charlie is a hard place; he does not do well with male dogs and female dogs would need a meet. Charlie used to be part of a breeding operation so he lived well with other dogs at one time he just is not doing well with other dogs in the shelter.

Charlie is available at Macoupin County Animal Control & Adoption Center (217) 854-4024.

Pet of the Week is sponsored by April's Dog Grooming (618) 409-2188 - look her up on Facebook.

Pet of the Week: Ben has been with us for several months. He has spent the majority of his puppyhood in our shelter and that’s tragic. Ben is a fun boy; he has a lot of energy but is not out of control. He would settle down nicely in a home environment. Ben seems to do well with other dogs. He is curious about cats but not aggressively so. Ben can meet a child and be excited to see him but still not knock him to the ground. Please give Ben a chance and come in to Macoupin County Animal Control to view him for adoption.

Meet Ben at Macoupin County Animal Control & Adoption Center (217) 854-4024.

Pet of the Week: Bella is a happy go lucky girl. She is on the smaller side & appears to be some sort of beagle mix. She has a beagle bark for sure. Bella wants to play, play, play with you but she would also enjoy sleeping in your lap later. Please come to Macoupin County Animal Control & give Bella a chance.

Meet Bella at Macoupin County Animal Control & Adoption Center (217) 854-4024.

Pet of the Week: Rocky is our longest resident. He is a handsome black and tan Doberman mix. He really enjoys spending his time laying out in the sun. Rocky spent a little time with the dog trainer at an adoption event and was thought to be very trainable. Rocky does not outright act aggressive towards other dogs but would do best with a meet and greet. He would do best in a home without small animals. Please come out to Macoupin County Animal Control to view Rocky for adoption!

Rocky is available for adoption at Macoupin County Animal Control & Adoption Center (217) 854-4024.
