I was live on Burlington’s South Winooski Avenue this morning where a fire broke out at a home. Burlington Fire Department says one person was taken to the hospital for possible smoke inhalation and the other eight residents, plus a cat, are ok. Luckily, everyone found a place to go for the time being. The Fire Marshall is investigating.

We’re back in Georgia this morning with updates on the young girl and man who went missing in the Lamoille River Wednesday night. Yesterday, crews found the body of the girl. Police say the search for the man will continue this morning.

We’re also following a second incident further up the Lamoille in Fairfax. Yesterday, crews recovered the body of a man who went under while swimming.

I’m live near Arrowhead Mountain Lake in Georgia right now, where two people are missing.

Police say a young girl fell into the water last night, and a man jumped in after her. Neither have been seen since.

Crews searched the area of Highbridge Road and Arrow Head Lake Road, where the Lamoille River feeds into the lake. That search picks back up this morning.

I’ll bring you the latest on any findings — here’s hoping for answers this morning.
