Sometimes I do wonder what she thinks of me after I get it what seems like all wrong all morning lol 😆

Cut the apple in slices…. No mama I wanted a whole apple!

Give her chocolate milk…. Noooo I want white milk!

Geeezzzz I guess today is different than every day… I didn’t get the memo…. Sorry!! 😣😆

Honestly, after so many times… like 3 of Love doing this. I tell her that she gets what she gets and she can’t throw fit.

I may be wrong but I don’t have the time or patience to accommodate all her requests or have mind reading powers to know exactly what she wants. 🤷🏼‍♀️

She has meltdown for split second and moves on from it.

My short length of patience with her not knowing what she wants helps us both because she learns to be happy with that she gets and I learn the meltdown wasn’t even as long as it could have been if I kept going with that she was doing.

For real some days it feels like everything sets her off and others it’s like chill as a cucumber! 🥒

This audio does crack me up! What if that is what they are thinking while walking around or riding their bikes!?? 🤣

Love is our two year old.

She is a tom boy, fearless, and outgoing.

We have a front porch swing that she likes to try to stand on while it rocks.

We have told her many of times to sit down while swinging on the swing.

Today, I saw her on the front porch in the very swing we have warned her about.

This time she was standing on it while it was swinging and as I was about to get on to her. I watched it flip and her catching her little body with her face on our concrete porch.

I immediately ran over to her… I knew she had hurt herself.

She was crying hysterically. I saw above her left eye she was missing a part of her eye brow and a patch of skin.

I picked her up and held her. Consoling her as she cried.

I got a bandage on the boo boo. I gave her some ice to hold on her eye. I am thinking she may have a black eye but we shall see. She ate a popsicle.

She is totally fine and ready to go about her day.

I am learning as her mama that’s something’s she has to learn through experience. Apparently, this was one of those time.

Family Vacation 2026

Motherhood can feel so hard and isolating especially in the early years.

I have two little ones constantly looking up to me for help and guidance while juggling a corporate job and whatever every day throws at me.

My husband is my main support system so I also put a lot on him. We lean and each other a lot to get through each day and each week.

It is easy to get catch up in all the hard and the feeling of how difficult it is.

We stepped away going on a family vacation.

During the vacation I found myself soaking in the view of my little 2 year old running on the beach chasing the seagulls. Thinking how cute she is and how she will only be this little this summer. 🥹

I felt so much joy watching my 8 month old explore the different textures of the sand and embrace each wave that come in washing over her. I was thinking how happy I was to experience this with her. 🥹

Both girls enjoying the beach together and sharing their experiences with one another my heart felt like bursting.

I needed this more than I realized. This is what I’ve prayed for and apart of my hard work is harvesting through watching my girls growing together and experiencing the wonders of life together. That is something I’ve continuously reminded myself about through the hard that all this will reap the most beautiful fruits.

I felt and feel abundance of gratitude for the hard parts and the good parts of motherhood. Stepping back gave me that reminder that this what life is all about.

I hope for moments to come your way during the thick of motherhood so you two experience the abundance of joy and gratitude for all that you are doing as a mom for your little ones.

I definitely see why we have two kids! 😆

I love my husband . He the best there is! 💗

He works hard for us to have this amazing life. He always is striving to be better and working towards goals.

He loves hard and with all his heart. We are so grateful to have him!

I definitely not one of those wives that hates her spouse. I married mine to love for a lifetime and he is my very best friend. I will always choose to speak how amazing he is because he is truly the best.💗
