We employ mechanics and museum curators, data analysts and landscape architects, engineers and educators, law enforcement officers and firefighters. Have you ever made maple candy in the snow? Just boil the maple syrup and bring it to around 235 F. Then pour it into fresh snow and, voila - maple candy! When we get more snow sometime we want to pour it in ribbons and twirl popsicle sticks in it! Yummy winter fun!

All fluffed up and cuddly! We lost two of the six chicks that hatched (of the twelve Eggs we put in the incubator). But the kids are enjoying these fluffy, little chicks and hopefully all this TLC will ensure our next rooster is less aggressive than the one we currently have to avoid!

Six of our chicks hatched and they are so precious! We transferred them under our broody hen last night and they are all cozy (and alive) this morning - yay!

Chicks get up and moving around so quickly! My kids wanted it to hear nice music early on so they played the Danse Macabre and were sure baby chick was dancing to it.
