Welcome to The Pickin’ Place! 🌿🍞

What started as a love for baking and sharing homemade goodies with family and friends has grown into a dream of creating a small farm stand right here in our community.

While we’re not open just yet, this page will be where I share updates, behind-the-scenes progress, menu testing, sourdough bakes, and all the little steps along the way as The Pickin’ Place comes to life.

The vision is simple: homemade sourdough, baked goods, jams, seasonal favorites, and eventually a charming self-serve farm stand filled with things made and grown with care.

We’re currently working toward opening in Calhoun, Summer 2026, so for now, follow along for updates and a behind-the-scenes look!

I’ve been in the kitchen perfecting a few recipes for Thanksgiving this week, and this caramel apple pie cheesecake with brown sugar crumble definitely made it on my top favorites list!
