This is USCGC Minnetonka (WHEC-67) an Owasco class high endurance cutter built for World War 11 service with the Coast Guard and did deploy to the Vietnam War. I was stationed on it from 60 to 64. I was a Boatswains Mate.

Sean, the son of U.S. Coast Guard Academy Leadership Development Center Instructor Lt. Cmdr. George MacDonnell, has been bravely battling cancer for years. Throughout his fight, Sean never wavered in his courage or spirit. These commendable characteristics keep with the highest traditions of the - and the Coast Guard Chief. 💪
