We had two fur babies. Jack (white) and Lucky (black)
About a month ago we unexpectedly lost jack. Unbeknownst to us, he had cancer in his liver. And quickly spread to lungs and back legs. It was traumatic of a day to say the least. Still struggling to this day.
What has helped you to have a bit more peace and less guilt? I feel like it’s my fault. I should’ve asked more questions. I should’ve tried chemo. What signs did I miss?
And now, with Lucky, we’re not sure if having a brother would help? He’s 9. And if we do, same breed or do Shih Tzus do well with other breeds as well?
