Sometimes we need reminding…
The best things in life aren’t somewhere else.
They’re right in front of you.

03/18/2026

What you feed your kids matters more than most people think.

It affects how they grow, how they feel, and how they show up every day.

Simple food. Done right.

Boxing since 5.

Habits built young
last a lifetime.

My job is to guide him
and set the example.

Just staying capable.

Sometimes it’s the only quiet hour you get all day.

Use it well.

Rain.
Mud.
Fresh air.

Sometimes it’s easier to just put the TV on.
But easy doesn’t always mean right.

Kids aren’t built to sit indoors all day.
They’re built to explore, move, get dirty, and be outside.

10k run.

10 Minutes of stillness

No big speech.
No deep lesson.

Just clearing the head and finishing the day properly.

Discipline in the body.
Quiet in the mind.

Solid end to the day.

Life’s been busy… so we pressed pause.
Boots on. Overnight away. Just us.
Sand. Sea. A hammock.
Nothing else needed.
I’m his example.
The standard he’ll measure himself against.
Presence matters.
Lead from the front. Lead by example.
Fresh air. Real time. Father & son.

There are days when the tank is empty and the pressure is high. But but being a Father means your "off" days don't exist when your kids are watching.
No matter how hard the day gets or how much you feel like slowing down, remember there are little eyes looking at you as the blueprint for how a man should show up. That’s not a burden; it’s the only motivation you should ever need to keep pushing. 📈

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but…
only 2 days until the days start getting longer again ☀️
Lighter evenings are on the way. More after-work kickabouts, more buggy walks that don’t end in the dark, more time making memories with our kids.
Winter can feel long as a dad — juggling work, family, tiredness — but this is your reminder: brighter days are coming.

6 meals I cooked for my kids this week—simple, real food, built for growth and energy.
1. Grass-fed steak, butternut squash, avocado
Iron + protein for strength, healthy fats for brain support, slow carbs for steady energy.
2. Organic yogurt, blueberries, Manuka honey & sprouted grain granola
Good probiotics for the gut, antioxidants for immunity, and clean carbs to power their day.
3. Wild salmon, tomatoes, spinach
Omega-3s for focus, vitamins for immune health, and minerals for strong bones.
4. Lamb, sweet potato mash, organic eggs
Rich protein, natural carbs, and quality fats to keep them fueled.
5. Grass-fed steak, butter, cheese & bone marrow
Nutrient-dense fats + protein to help with growth and recovery.
6. Barley, chickpeas, carrots, lentils
Fiber, plant protein, and steady energy—simple, hearty, and filling.
Keeping it real. Keeping it clean. Feeding my kids like they matter.

Feed them well. Set the standard early.

Just getting some practice in… preparation for the day my daughter brings home her first boyfriend. 🥊😏
Hopefully not before she’s 35 💪
