Brawley!
A lot of people are gonna be happy about this, and some are gonna say it is not enough or ask "what about my street?" What do you say?
Best Avenue in Brawley is finally getting paved from Main Street to Jones Street (Phase 1). After years of callouts and complaints, the city is moving on it.
Check the schedule so you do not get stuck:
* Sept. 14 to 15: Partial closure, one lane open each way.
* Sept. 21 to 22: Partial closures, one lane open each way.
* Sept. 23 to 24: FULL CLOSURE for final paving (could run into Friday morning).
Local residents will still have access to their homes. Brawley Garden and Villa Fortuna Apartments can get in and out through C Street. Everyone else, take the detours and give yourself extra time. Peep the detour map below before you head that way 🚗

Por fin están arreglando Best Avenue en Brawley desde Main Street hasta Jones Street (Fase 1). Después de años de peticiones, la ciudad ya comenzó los trabajos.
Tomen nota de las fechas para evitar retrasos:
* 14 al 15 de sept: Cierre parcial, un carril abierto en cada dirección.
* 21 al 22 de sept: Cierres parciales, un carril abierto en cada dirección.
* 23 al 24 de sept: CIERRE TOTAL para la pavimentación final (podría extenderse al viernes por la mañana).
El acceso local se mantendrá para los residentes del área. Quienes viven en los apartamentos Brawley Garden y Villa Fortuna podrán entrar y salir por C Street. Todo el tráfico de paso tendrá que tomar los desvíos. Chequen el mapa de desvíos abajo antes de salir 🚗
