Although the various yard-birds are inferior meats compared to the red meats in my opinion, I do partake on special occasions. It's tradition, after all. How do you like to cook your turkey?

I prefer smoked, personally, with cranberry sauce. We have to have both the canned-shape blob of cranberry gel as well as some actual slow-cooked cranberries in my house. I prefer the real cranberries, but my childhood memories and time in the military also demand the OG blob sliced up thick.

Am I alone in this?

GB2 Advanced Survival (Primitive Survival) in the books. This is a very challenging knife-only class where you have to earn your knife by working with stone tools only in the beginning. Students arrive with the clothes on their backs and provide for their needs using what Mother Nature provides and skills instead of gear.

Proud of these guys for rising the challenge. Special thanks to the GB2 Lead Primitive Survival Instructor for facilitating the training with instruction and venue. Always the professional and a great friend of mine for 3 decades.

Had a great crew for Master Navigator this past weekend in North Carolina! Looking forward to seeing more of these folks in future classes.

The grind towards 1M subscribers on YouTube continues and all of you are a part of that. Just got back from an overnighter in the mountains, 24 hours of rain but I was in the absolute lap of luxury in my hot tent. That releases this Saturday at 8am.

Today after returning from the overnighter, I finished up the edit on How To Wet Form a Leather Knife Sheath which will drop tomorrow. Make sure you are subscribed and don't miss either video this week.
