Flood Oil in Eden has been drawing attention these past months for their sculptures made out of tires. Right now, they have this one that looks like an ice cream cone to remind everyone to support the area's dairy industry.

A terrific collection of images including one (at about the 3:10 mark) of some cats at Paluso Guest Ranch in New Fane, which we published last year along with a feature on Bob Paluso.

We typically show our salute to photographers montage during the annual convention. Because it was canceled, we're sharing it here. Hats off to all of our great photojournalists!

Student/Parent Note: May 14, 2020

Seniors and Parents,

With the news of the Wisconsin Supreme Court overturning the extension of the Stay at Home order from the Department of Health Services, the portion affecting schools was excluded from their ruling. That being said, nothing has changed in regard to those portions of the closure order concerning schools. According to several legal advisors, what has been happening in schools still is applicable and the expectation. We continue to work on plans for graduation, promotions, summer school options, and the start of the next school year. As these and other developments unfold we will be releasing the pertinent information. Our plan is to have an in-person ceremony in July and we will be sharing our plans with the seniors and their families in the near future.

Respectfully,
Todd Hencsik
Paul A. Amundson

The state's Safer At Home order has been lifted. The Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled 4-3 today that Gov. Tony Evers' administration overstepped its authority when it extended the order until May 26, calling it “unlawful, invalid and unenforceable.”
