At first glance, these macarons look perfect—smooth, vibrant, flawless. Just like the strawberries surrounding them, they give off a sweet, polished vibe. But the truth is, perfection can be a mask.

We do this too. We smile. We post the highlights. We show the polished parts of our lives. But underneath it all, we’re human—messy, vulnerable, real.

And that’s okay.
Being imperfect doesn’t make us less beautiful. It makes us authentic.

🎉💖 The start of Meya’s 12th BIRTHDAY WEEK is officially underway! (Yes, you read that right—7 full days of celebration for this queen 👑)

Let’s talk about this cake situation real quick.

Now here’s the kicker: there are only THREE of us in this house… and there was NO party planned. None. Zip. Just vibes and this cake that could feed a small village. 😭🎂

This masterpiece has three layers of homemade strawberry filling, four layers of moist vanilla bean cake, and is wrapped in silky Swiss meringue buttercream. It took me alllll day—do you hear me?? ALL. DAY. 😵‍💫 And now I’m walking like I’m 87.

But look at her smile. My sweet, sassy, smart, beautiful 12-year-old. She’s worth every ache, every swirl of icing, and every ounce of exhaustion. 🥹💫

So, listen… I need 40 to 50 of y’all to come help us eat this thing before I start handing out cake to the Amazon drivers and neighbors I barely know. 😂

🚨 STOP EVERYTHING 🚨
Today is basically a national holiday in our house—because my girl Meya is officially 12 YEARS OLD! 🎉🎂 (Facebook tried to jump the gun a month ago, but THIS is the real deal. Nice try, Meta.)

Let me just say… I blinked, and she became taller than me, started raiding my closet, and having full-blown conversations that make me question who the actual adult is in this house. 😩😂
(Also, shoutout to her for letting me know I’m still losing some lbs—because yes, we can now share clothes 😭.)

I miss the little baby she once was, but I can’t even begin to describe how proud and excited I am to watch this young queen grow. God has something amazing in store for my ladybug 🐞—I just know it. 💫

So do me a favor, friends and fam—help me blow up her day with love! 🎈🎊
