One Down, One To Go! 🎓❤️

Today was all about celebrating one of the biggest accomplishments in our family! As we watched Charles walk across that stage and earn his degree, I couldn’t help but look at this picture and realize… we’ve got one down and one to go! 🙌🏾

Standing beside her daddy is our beautiful daughter, Meya, who is headed to the 8th grade and continues to make us proud every single day as a straight-A student. 📚✨

🎓❤️ TODAY WAS HIS DAY! ❤️🎓

Today, I had the honor of watching my husband, Charles, walk across the stage and celebrate a milestone that was years in the making. Not only did he earn his B.A. in Operations Management and Analysis, but he graduated Magna Cum Laude!

What makes this moment so special isn’t just the degree, it’s everything that came with it. The sacrifices. The late nights. The balancing of work, family, life, and responsibilities while refusing to give up.

This past year has brought its share of challenges, but through it all, Charles stayed focused, kept pushing, and leaned on his faith. Seeing that stole that reads “Exercise Your Faith” couldn’t be more fitting because that’s exactly what he did.

Baby, I am so proud of you. Thank you for showing Meya and our family what determination, perseverance, and trusting God looks like in action. Today we celebrate not just what you’ve accomplished, but the man you are.

Now excuse me while I brag on my husband for the rest of the day! ❤️🥰🎓

Yesterday’s Memorial Day cookout was full of family, food, laughter, and one argument that never seems to go away in this house. 😂

If you’ve followed me for a while, then you already know the battle...

I love taking a rack of beautifully smoked ribs and basting them with my favorite homemade BBQ sauce until they’re sticky, shiny, and finger-licking good. 😍

Production, on the other hand, believes if the ribs are cooked right, they don’t need sauce. He wants smoke, seasoning, bark, and nothing else. 🤦🏾‍♀️

So here is the question, fam...

Looking at this picture, can you tell which rack belongs to Chef Dorian and which one belongs to Production? 👀😂

One rack is getting all the love from my homemade BBQ sauce.The other rack is standing firm in the “no sauce needed” camp.
