It is with a heavy heart and profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of Mr.Jangbu Lama of Phaplu on July 31 at 2:17 pm.
Mr. Jangbu Lama has been instrumental in forming the Sherpa Sewa Kendra in Nepal, He was the founder and owner of Sagar Construction Company P. Ltd. for the majority of his life. He is fondly remembered as Overseer Jangbu because of his contributions to the building of Goreto Project in his early career in the Solukhumbu region of Nepal. He has recently immigrated to the United States and become a committed citizen of the United States focussing on various ventures of taxi services, construction and real estate management.
Mr Jangbu is survived by his wife Mendok Lama, 4 sons ( Chongba Lama, Dawa Lama, Gelu Lama, Tsering Lama ), daughters-in-laws (Phulamu Sherpa, Phurba Sherpa, Mingmar Sherpa, and Sony Sherpa) and grand-children (Sonam Lama, Kelsang Lama, Kalden Lama, Ema Lama, Yeshi Lama, Karma Lama, and Nurbu Lama). May his soul attain Nirvana. We wish and pray for his peaceful journey and rebirth and offer our deepest respects.
We would like to express our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and relatives at this very sad time. We pray to Lord Buddha to give them the strength to bear the loss of their loved family member.
For the repose of the soul of the late Jangbu lama, a prayer will be held at Sherpa Kyidug America, New York as follows.

गहिरो मन र दुःखका साथ फाप्लुका श्री जंगबु लामाको असार ३१ गते दिउँसो २:१७ बजे निधन भएको खबर सुनाउछौ ।
श्री जाङ्बु लामाले नेपालमा शेर्पा सेवा केन्द्र स्थापना गर्न महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निर्वाह गरेका छन्, उहाँ आफ्नो जीवनको अधिकांश समय सागर कन्स्ट्रक्सन कम्पनी प्रालिका संस्थापक र मालिक हुनुहुन्थ्यो। नेपालको सोलुखुम्बु क्षेत्रमा आफ्नो प्रारम्भिक क्यारियरमा गोरेटो परियोजनाको निर्माणमा योगदान पुर्याएका कारण उहाँलाई ओभरसियर जाङ्बुको रूपमा मायालु रूपमा सम्झिन्छ। उनी भर्खरै संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिकामा बसाइ सरेका छन् र ट्याक्सी सेवा, निर्माण र घर जग्गा व्यवस्थापनका विभिन्न उद्यमहरूमा ध्यान केन्द्रित गर्दै संयुक्त राज्यको प्रतिबद्ध नागरिक बनेका छन्।
श्री जाङ्बुका श्रीमती मेन्डोक लामा, ४ छोराहरू (छोङ्बा लामा, दावा लामा, गेलु लामा, छिरिङ लामा), बुहारीहरू (फुलामु शेर्पा, फुर्वा शेर्पा, मिङ्मार शेर्पा र सोनी शेर्पा) र नातिनातिनाहरू छन्। सोनम लामा, केल्साङ लामा, काल्डेन लामा, एम्मा लामा, येशी लामा, कर्मा लामा, र नोर्बु लामा)। उहाँको आत्माले निर्वाण प्राप्त गरोस्। उहाँको शान्ति यात्रा र पुनर्जन्मको कामना गर्दै हार्दिक श्रद्धाञ्जली अर्पण गर्दछौं।
यस दुखद घडीमा शोकसन्तप्त परिवार तथा आफन्तजनमा हार्दिक समवेदना प्रकट गर्दछौं। उहाँहरुका प्रिय परिवारका सदस्यहरुको शोक सहन सक्ने शक्ति प्रदान गरुन् भनी भगवान बुद्धसँग प्रार्थना गर्दछौं।
