What started in 2003 as Chris Miller’s Music — recording live CDs for recitals, events, and auditions — has evolved into Mixin’ It Miller, LLC, a full-service sound and lighting production company founded in 2009 and independently owned by Chris Miller.

Today, Mixin’ It Miller provides sound and lighting for special events, speaking engagements, dance productions, and concerts, along with DJ and MC services for weddings, parties, and celebrations of all kinds. Known for his engaging presence and professionalism, Chris takes pride in creating memorable experiences through quality sound, vibrant lighting, and genuine energy.

“I’ve always said, ‘C. Miller, always mixin’ up a good time.’ I want every guest to enjoy the event fully — from the atmosphere to the music,” says Miller. After a record year of events, he’s looking forward to bringing even more energy to the stage in 2026 and building new relationships through his Chamber membership.

This past Friday night, I got the opportunity to provide the sound and lighting production for the Grand Opening of the The Dixie Theater of New Madrid, MO. With a live band from a local church, Riverbend Pentecostals Live, it was a joy to mix this event!

Back in 2009, one of the very first events I did was sound and lighting support for a charity concert at the historic Wareham Hall, in Manhattan, Kansas.

I’m proud of how far my business has come and how it has expanded to be able to do what I do today to help others with their sound and lighting production needs!

October 24th, I was at the beautiful Pebble Creek Farm for the Bieser wedding! The rain held off and I was able to provide sound for an outdoor ceremony, a special outside First Dance, and for the Wedding Reception inside.

Ps. The last picture is of the Groom, who is a Mechanic, searching for the garter, while on a Mechanic’s Creeper. It was amazing!

I’m behind in my posts, but let me get you all caught up!

October 18th, the most requested booking date in 2025, I got to spend with the Yount’s (Annie and Benjamin) at the beautiful Hermann Hill Weddings in Hermann, Missouri. This venue was incredible.

Even though it rained and it was a drive for me, I’m always happy to travel and make it happen.

I tell ya, this was a night for the books! Check out the pictures below. Plus, Daniel Thompson Film & Photography was on site, capturing amazing content, shared on their page!

It’s a beautiful night at Monarch 55, celebrating the retirement of Battalion Chief Brad Dillow of the Cape Girardeau Fire Department!

My full-time job is as a Firefighter and I’ve been honored to be on Chief Dillow’s crew for over 6 years. I’m enjoying providing music and lighting for this celebration!

Neat and simple tonight. I love it!

The Advance Eagles was the place to be last Saturday night for the Bollinger Wedding!

Hopefully you saw the beautiful Ceremony pictures yesterday, but I tell ya, the reception was a lovely night, celebrating this wonderful couple. :)

The versatility of my company is amazing. This past weekend’s wedding was in the “sticks,” haha. But, when the couple wants to have a wedding on 100 acres of farmland, I’m happy to make it happen.

Check out this gorgeous ceremony location in Stoddard County, Missouri that I provided sound production for. And, since there was no electric nearby, I was able to place my inverter generator 160 feet down the hill from my mix position, so you couldn’t even see or hear it! See if you can find the generator in Picture #4!

I had so much fun with this wonderful couple last Saturday night! The Ameristar Casino Resort Spa St. Charles was the place to be in their brand new Conference Center. I provided sound for the Wedding Ceremony and DJ Services for the Reception. What a great night celebrating the newly wedded Cusumano’s in St. Charles, Missouri!

Who says you can’t have fun in the middle of nowhere, 🙂. What a fun wedding this last Sunday in Bollinger County. Beautiful outdoor ceremony and then live singing and dancing inside the barn!
