Should always order a few extra and cut them down. I don’t want to hear the “it comes in that size” or “customer didn’t want to pay” you buy them then and help yourself get new customers!

I’m not sure where the “cutting trim will ruin your wetsaw blade” came from and I’d say I’ve been doing it like this for 20 years but nowadays having experience is a bad thing I guess.
-
This job is a perfect example and proves it doesn’t affect the blade at all. Cut down hundreds of feet of trim and still cut the 24x48” tiles no problem.

Now I wouldn’t recommend using a turbo mesh blade for what I feel are obvious reasons but a continuous rim blade works great like the Crowne 10” pro series.

For me, using a wetsaw makes too much sense as I always set one up for every job, like always. For others a chopsaw is the go to and that works great. But whatever your preference is, that’s your preference and putting down someone else’s doesn’t further validate yours it just makes you look like an ass.
