Education is lifelong. We never stop learning. Don’t be afraid to find an institution that supports continuing education for their employees.

Today, I attended one of the Indiana Chapter conferences of SGNA. It was a full-day event filled with opportunities to earn CE credits, network, meet fellow nurses and associates from different hospitals across Indiana, explore the vendor hall for devices and freebies, and most importantly, learn the latest GI-related updates and topics.

I was able to connect with colleagues from:
• VA (Veterans Affairs)
• Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne
• UC San Diego (Travel RN)
• IU Health

The best part of the day? It was FREE! My hospital covered both the conference ticket and the attended hours.

I am excited for more SGNA conferences esp the national one!

During the -BER months it feels like we get every season in one day. ❄️🌸☀️🍁

Welcome to Indiana!

We start chilly with 30s and 40s and then we warm up to 70s and 80s. Lower humidity and increasing drought conditions help us swing back and forth with 25-35 degree temperature swings, sometimes within 6-7 hours!
