Please send some prayers for my little baby boy, Titan. He has been the picture of health his whole 3 years of life, but Saturday he became suddenly gravely ill. He has been in the ER since Saturday for bloody vomit and stool. I truly think the culprit, or at least the big contributing factor was a bully stick I gave him Thursday. He didn't seem very interested in it initially, so I thought he would chew it slowly. I was wrong. He managed to eat almost 12" of it in just under an hour. I am kicking myself for not watching him more closely and for giving it to him in the first place. I hope he can make a full recovery and I can have him home with me soon. I learned a hard lesson and my baby paid for it. From my experience, I would strongly advise against bully sticks and I will never buy one for my dogs again. I don't knock anyone for giving them to their dogs if they've had good experiences, but please make sure you vigilantly watch them. Don't let them eat it all in one sitting. I am never forgiving myself for this.
