Today is my fifth birthday! Yesterday I shared birthday cookies with my fur friends at day care and brought lunch for the staff. I was so exhausted that when I came home, I ate dinner, went outside and then to bed...Great day!

Update: We lost Bailey. 💔
I still can’t believe I’m saying that. He was always with me, always following the kids around, always up for a cuddle. After his reaction to NexGard, we stopped everything right away — switched to Earth and Paws, started milk thistle, changed his food, did everything we could. But it was already too late.
I keep going back to that gut feeling I had before giving him the pill. I ignored it and trusted the vet. And now he’s gone. If you’re even slightly unsure, please listen to your gut. I’d give anything to have him back.
