As we ease into opening and operate with limited hours during our first few weeks, we highly encourage guests to make reservations in advance. While we'll do our very best to accommodate walk-ins, seating will be limited and reservations will help ensure you get the dining experience you're hoping for.

Update on Menu -

For the requests to post the menu, respectfully, it feels a little early to post a menu as we intend to tweak the menu as we gain feedback from our guests. We can tell you, we will offer seasonal items using local ingredients, like Ellijay Mushrooms or honey from the apiary on the vineyard, for example. Our chefs have plenty to offer to keep things interesting and delicious. For now, you can always expect a Tampa style Cuban sandwich which is exactly like all you Tampa people remember…you’re going to be so happy. We will always have a couple of soups and salads, amazing chicken salad sliders, our delicious meatball and ricotta plate, scrumptious desserts and more fun shareable plates that you will be able to enjoy with friends (or keep all to yourself) paired with a bottle of our delicious wines. Or try the tableside prepared Sangria for something fun!

Today we had the opportunity to visit one of Bartow County’s hidden treasures—the recently reopened home of Georgia author Corra Harris in Rydal.

What we expected was a historic house.

What we found was an entire story.

The property has been thoughtfully restored and furnished to reflect the period when Corra Harris lived and wrote here. Walking the grounds, exploring the barns, gardens, chapel, and home itself, it’s easy to understand why this place inspired some of her most important work.

A special thank you to Joe Head for privately guiding us through the property. Joe has spent decades helping preserve and share the history of Bartow County through his leadership, research, writing, and service with the Valley Historical Society. His knowledge of local history brings places like this to life.

As we walked the property, we couldn’t help but think:

Why don’t more people know about places like this?

This is exactly the kind of experience that excites us. Not a tourist attraction. Not a crowded destination. A genuine place with a fascinating story hiding right here in our own backyard.

We’re giving serious thought to how a future ZIXPY Grownup Field Trip might incorporate the Corra Harris Home and other remarkable historical sites throughout Bartow County.

Sometimes the most interesting journeys aren’t hundreds of miles away.

Sometimes they’re right down the road.

ZIXPY visited and Enthuza Cycles yesterday to learn more about the services Enthuza offers for riders on the Silver Comet Trail.

Downtown Rockmart has been revitalized and is welcoming visitors to its lovely quaint shops and cute restaurants. It’s not the Rockmart of yesteryear. We loved it! In fact, ZIXPY and Enthuza Cycles are working together to enhance the Silver Comet Trail experience. Stay tuned! Monday, ZIXPY and Enthuza will visit with Three Strands Vineyard and Winery to discuss collaboration with them on their recent addition to the Silver Comet Trail. How about a Pedal and Pour tour?

We visited yesterday on our grown up field trip scouting mission in Cleveland, GA. This winery, owned by lifelong Cleveland residents Nathan and Brandi, produces amazing wines and plays host to a tranquil vibe. A gentle breeze kept us sitting outside under the shade trees soaking in all the fresh air the mountains had to offer. Next time you’re in the northeast Georgia mountains, stop by and say hello.
