Boutique Social taught me 🙌
And this is what I learned…
GUUUUUYS! Beauty House Marketing turned O-N-E last month!
One year ago I decided to take my little side hustle seriously and make it official.
And boy oh boy what a year to be a small biz owner...
Now, when I was first brainstorming this post I thought, “what value can I bring to you from my experience” and this is what I came up with.
These are the moves I made this year that have brought me success (and for me success does not always = $$)

This one right here belongs at the top of the list for a reason. If there is one single piece of advice I would ask you to take from this it’s this one! nvest back into your business and yourself!
Here are a few investments I have made that I am so grateful for:
Community: Social Squad Society with Emily Schwalbach & Boutique Social DC
Website: Abby Haglundd
Copywriter: Mandy Park
Education: Boutique Social DC
Business Manager & Strategist: Jennifer Benefiel

Take the time to show your social media peeps, your clients, your potential clients, business besties, ALL OF THE ABOVE: some real genuine love.
This might be in a friendly DM or text or it might be in the form of a personalized gift. For me, it warms my soul more to give than receive.

Along with finding a wonderful community of like minded folks, be that through a Mastermind or Facebook Group, ya gotta grab a business partner in crime.
For me, that has been Ashley Stewart. We vibe on every level personally, professionally, and I am giddy inside with our upcoming project announcement (lord has then been a labor of love!)
Building a business is hard y’all!! And I got a LONG way to go that is for sure! But I couldn't have done it without all of the above!
