“Bruce Lee would have never said anything derogatory about Muhammad Ali because he worshiped the ground Muhammad Ali walked on. In fact, he was into boxing more so than martial arts,” says Inosanto, one of only three martial artists who were trained by Lee to teach Jeet Kune Do at Lee’s martial arts institutes. Jeet Kune Do is a philosophy of martial arts drawing from different disciplines invented by Lee that is often credited with paving the way for modern mixed martial arts (MMA).

Awesome seeing my friend G**o Doug Marcaida at the 2019 Blade Show in Atlanta. My wife, and I worked with and General Tony Taguba to develop the “Filipino Memorial Bolo” (akaFilipino Talibang Bolo) to help raise funds to donate to the nonprofit on behalf of the FilIpino WW II Veterans, ensuring that they can receive their Congressional Gold Medals and they are historically recognized for their service and sacrifice, and much more.

The Filipino Veterans Educational and Recognition Project (FilVetRep) mission is to raise awareness through academic research and public education and obtain national recognition of the Filipino-American WWII soldiers for their wartime service to the United States and Philippines from July 1941 to December 1946.
