I was just through the first track of my show honoring the passing of John Lodge of The Moody Blues with "Nights In White Satin," when my messenger dinged and a friend told me that my original guitar idol, Ace Frehley, had passed away.

I threw the playlist I had planned for the evening out the window and started digging through all my Kiss and Ace CDs to put together a fitting tribute to The Starman.

What you'll hear tonight is 36 tracks of my favorite Frehley. Pulled from his time with Kiss and his solo career, listening to this took me back to being a kid growing up in the 70s where the only band I cared about was Kiss, and into my teen years with Frehley's Comet.
