Mountains and Meadows Publishing My name is Dail Martin and I am an independent self publisher of children's books. I believe that reading to children encourages them to read.

So, enjoy! I strongly believe that reading/learning to read is very important for us all. It is a way to learn about our world. It is also for just plain enjoyment. It is just so wonderful to escape to another place when reading. I believe that parents should read to their children and encourage them to read on their own too. I have written 2 children's books. "My Teddy Bear Makes Me Laugh" and "The Little Cabin In The Woods." Both are illustrated by me in watercolor format and are in vivid colors. Hope you and your children enjoy them.

This is my second book published in 2014 and just hot off the press today!
It depicts "The Guys", who are several characters who live in or near the little cabin in the woods! The book takes them through winter, spring, summer and fall adventures! They meet some new characters too! Red, the cardinal, returns in this book to join them in all the fun!
There are 26 color plate illustrations and several poems. All illustrations and poems are done by me with a lot of thought and love. I had a wonderful time escaping into the world of "The Guys" who live in "The Little Cabin In The Woods"
