Thinking today about all the Christians that don't have dazzling, dramatic conversion, or even simple spiritual encounter, stories.

Our God is beyond-comprehension incredible and miracles are nothing to sneeze at, but it is also wholly God-honoring to walk modestly, evenly, and steadfastly. Your journey does not need to be "sensational" for Him to work through your life, it only need be faithful. Not perfect, not loud, not without falter - only faithful.

Your silent witness, your quiet obedience, reaches farther and deeper than you can even fathom. ❤️

The problem with Christians is that we are human | Artifact 19

Amber invited her sister, Amanda, into the chaos to see what shook out. The resulting conversation explored Amanda's journey through rebellion, tragedy, and challenge.

As a bonus - this one didn't turn into a therapy session for Jessica which I can confidently say (as she is I; I am the writer of descriptions) that it was a welcome turn of events not being in the emotional hot seat.

Being the eldest of seven in a devoutly Christian home lent to a unique path for Amanda - join us in walking alongside her through her story.

We Who Were Not will be taking a recording hiatus through, at least, the month of January. Our latest episode with Amber's eldest sister, Amanda, will go up this week and it will be the last for a while.

This is fully a Jessica thing; I dunno yet if this means a full social media sabbatical..so..I can't tell you what will or will not be happening here on this page for the coming weeks. No new artifacts - I do know that.

That's as much detail as I am willing to go into now. I know it's a blindside to everyone but.. I need to do it. And I am not sorry.

Maybe, if y'all are lucky, you'll get the story eventually.

Find a new madness w/ Ronnie | Artifact 17

Straight out of Jackalope City is the man himself - Gonzo.

If you know Ronnie Gonzales.. You know. If you don’t, you will after this one.

Tales of chasing down true crime mysteries, being a pioneer in the Wyoming skate community, and swashbuckeling in the Patch are just the tip of the iceberg that is Ronnie. We pulled on so many threads and spotted so many new trials that there’s no way I’m going to be able to adequately summate our 2.5 hour conversation.

You’re just going to have to listen to this one. I promise that Gonzo’s impossible optimism will infect your week in the best way.
