I became curious about everything and I read voraciously. I incorporated my writing into my work--which wasn't hard while I was doing public relations, writing while being an accountant proved somewhat difficult, and every onoce in a while I would write a short story about sailing, or travel destinations,, or family. I visited a state park one day and a story filled my head almost immediately. I r
eturned on several occasions, and continued to develop and write and publish a historical romance set at this local. I was a novice then and didn't know how important the title of a book is. My life took a 90 degree turn and I was asked to create a digital news platform for a rural county in Texas...THAT was a ball! After several years of non-stop journalism, I burned out. that was when I started 'learning' publishing, and that was when my writing began to become successful.
