I've been super into ribbon mics lately. Here I was using the N22 in combination with an old 315. The N22 has a more forward midrange with a really cool character, and the Shure has a little more sizzle on top and a thicker low end. Each sounded great on its own, but combined, they complemented each other perfectly!

It's automatically a good day when I get the chance to use this weird old Peavey PA as a guitar amp. It sounds kinda terrible in all the right ways 😆 The last time I used it, it started spewing smoke after ripped a solo through it (you rock too dang hard, Jerry), but to my surprise, it seems to have repaired itself (I wish all my amps did that...)! Sooooo that's pretty cool!
