Today was a turn the page day on my pain levels, no I’m not pain free in eyes of those who see me still suffering some but my God said I am free indeed, so I will not let this last year define my wellness. Yes I had a great day today and got to spend my day with my best friend and love of my life, we even went on a past due date at Colton’s, I am truly Blessed us in our first year together

THEN AND NOW. I guess you can say I’ve been doing this for a long time. 1957- 2024. Trust me it hasn’t been easy to get here at 82, I’ve lost more than you can imagine, Jesus standing on the sidelines, in all His Grace and understanding , and oh how I’ve let Him down, But He never left me and He’ll never leave you or forsake you. Music was always the center of my life. I’ve tried to put the gift He gave aside, there was a conflict going on about that very thing. Some of you are at this same crossroads, YOU KNOW THAT GOD LOVES YOU, BUT SOME OF YOU HAVE A CONFLICT IN WHO AND WHAT YOU DO FOR A PROFESSION AND SERVING GOD. Well, my struggle in those things are done, I have found a balance between serving Him and worshiping Him. So now I find peace in my music with a song in my heart, love for everyone, humble in his presence when singing for you and singing for Him. So I choose the songs I sing, not to disrespect Him but give Him the praise for the life He has let me live in the last mile I’ll travel. I hope you are encouraged but this bit of insight into Charles Morrill AKA Charlie Gail. I hope you all will come on out to the Festival this weekend. I’ll be singing from 10:am till 3:pm I’ll be singing a lot of songs from the 50s, through the 2000s , Country, Country Rock, old time Rock and Roll, Gospel, some I wrote and recorded, the main thing is that you enjoy this priceless gift of music that was placed in my life. LET EVERYTHING THAT HAS BREATH PRAISE THE LAMB IF GOD.
