I got started on the radio in 2010 with a 2 hour radio show called "FUN ZONE" where I played silly, funny, feel-good songs and comedy clips, as well as inspiring, uplifting, encouraging songs. The name "Rofay Mishaguyas" is an honorarium for the DJ/Radio Personality known as "Doctor Demento," who inspired the show I was starting. "Rofay" comes from the Hebrew word for "Doctor" or "healer" and "Mis

haguyas" is from the Yiddish word meaning "craziness, silliness, insanity, non-sense, etc." Eventually I moved on to stage acting, doing mostly comedy/farce but also drama. That expanded to doing some short film. Currently I am primarily an online entertainer. I do write and do media production work as well. I have an A.A. in Theatre Arts (2018) and a B.A. in Film and Theatre Production (2020.) I'm in the US in the Mountain Time Zone, and I work to try and heal the world through laughter, inspiring people, getting people to consider different perspectives and views other than their own, lifting people up, and trying to be a bright spot in a dark world. I just want to take a moment to thank YOU for "liking" and "following" my page, and for sharing my posts (and not copying and re-uploading) and for inviting your friends to come and follow. Did you ever have a Christmas (or other holiday) where you had nothing?

After my dad died, we had many holidays where we had nothing, or we did have things, but we only had things because someone else knew we didnt have respources for food, presents, a tree ... and someone gave my mom money, or went out and purchased something for us.

I remember one Christmas not too long after dad died, when we kids were upset because we didnt have a tree, and mom angrily telling us we just couldnt afford a tree... and as we pulled into our driveway, a huge, expensive christmas tree was propped against our front door.

There were so many times like that, and it's one of the many reasons I have problems with this time of the year.

One of the reasons I do the things I do, is because I don't want others to experience the things I did, including going without.

Since it's the holiday season, I was thinking about sharing me "electronic giving" options on FB.... but...

Instead of posting my info, and asking you all to help me out, I want to ask you to help me help someone else.

It came to my attention the other day that one of my followers, friends, my family... are having a really tough time.

I saw last last week that Amanda Bilek has been having a really bad time (which I already knew) but that the situation is bad enough she had to decide to get meds and pay basic bills, or be homelss and/or unalive.... or to by her 3 kids presents.

Honestly, knowing this is one of the reasons I couldn't sleep the other day.... I remember being a kid who went without.

I dont know Amanda off FB. But from what Ive seen, she does way more than she's capable of, and at her own expense... often sacrificing health and sleep.... and still not making it.

Instead of giving to me, will you please consider donating some amout, any amount, to help 3 children, and Amanda have some presents and happiness this holiday? Giving links are below.

How often do we look at "presents" and judge the quality of it'scontent by the way its wrapped, it's size, its weight, its "bling?"

How often do we look at people and judge their "quality" as humans by how they are "wrapped."

A dog turd wrapped in the fanciest of wrappings is still a dog turd.

And expensive piece of jewelry is just as valuable when "wrapped" in a fast-food "take-out" bag.

All the glitters is not valuable, just as true treasure may seem like garbage.

Consider this as you encounter and engage with people around you.

You may be chasing a turd while passing up true treasure.

If you are a person who is comfortable enough with who you are to wear legging or a mini-skirt (or even a mini-kilt) than you are way more attractive of a human than any "fashion model" who must try to shame others as a way to feel better about yourself.

It may be an unpopular opinion, but
I, personally, feel that
if men can go topless,
women should be allowed to do the same.

If women should be forced to "cover up",
men should be forced to do the same.

But that's my feeling, what do you think?
