Massive BMS Data Breach Hits Vulnerable Patients

Baltimore Medical System (BMS), a health network serving ~90,000 patients , reportedly had several terabytes of data stolen by the Brain Cipher ransomware gang.
The leaked backups likely include names, patient records, and personal info, opening doors to medical identity theft and fraud.
This is especially dangerous because medical/biometric data can’t be reset like a password. The damage is long-lasting.
