I get this question all the time…”do you string your own lights???” And my answer….?

HECK YES!!

When you start stringing your own lights and doing it in such a way that you add twinkle from the inside out, you won’t be able to go back to a standard prelit tree! The twinkle is NOT the same!

So save yourself some time and comment TREE below, I’ll send you my favorite faux Christmas tree from Amazon (it sells out fast because the look is so real and the price is even better). Along with my favorite incandescent lights!

Consider this your reminder that you don’t need to buy a whole new porch every fall. 🍂

Aside from pumpkins I’ve collected over the years, almost everything you see here was found in or around our home.

Branches from the yard, dried stems, old baskets, things I already owned…and honestly, letting nature do the decorating felt way more fun than buying more stuff.

Fall might just be the easiest season to decorate for because so much of the beauty is already right outside our doors. 🤎

Simple, collected, inexpensive…and still really beautiful.

Around here, I’m less interested in completely redecorating for every season and more interested in making our old house feel a little warmer, cozier, and more like us.
